About the Role

As a business systems analyst, you will play a key part in shaping how our teams connect and work together. You will be responsible for turning Atlassian products into a seamless platform that meets our business needs.

  • Atlassian Product Roadmap: Maintain the product backlog, prioritize work to deliver value to employees, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Partner with stakeholders to identify pain points, map processes, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Integration and Automation: Integrate Jira and Confluence with other SaaS tools using APIs, marketplace apps, and automations to automate end-to-end flows.
  • Plug-in Management: Curate and govern plug-ins to ensure performance, security, and measurable ROI.
  • Dashboards and Reporting: Design dashboards and OKRs to surface insights, track adoption, and tell clear stories with data.
  • Change Management: Champion change management by crafting communication plans, delivering live training, and publishing self-service content.
  • Permission Models: Define and audit permission models to balance collaboration, privacy, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: 6+ years administering Jira and Confluence, with at least 3 years in a business systems or product ownership capacity for an organization of 5,000+ users.
  • Project Leadership: Proven record leading cross-functional projects from discovery through rollout, using Agile, Prosci/ADKAR, or similar frameworks.
  • Integration Skills: Strong integration skills with REST APIs, webhooks, and scripting (e.g., Python, Node.js).
  • Analytics and Reporting: Fluency with analytics and reporting tools such as eazyBI, Tableau, or BigQuery.
  • Communication and Facilitation: Polished communication and facilitation skills—comfortable presenting to executives, guiding power users, and supporting frontline teams.
