Job Title: Formulation Expert We are seeking an experienced Formulation Expert to join our team. As a key member of our formulation group, you will be responsible for delivering technical services and formulation support across various segments within the Polymer business. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver technical services and formulation support for targeted segments, driving customer satisfaction and product development.
  • Develop and adapt formulations to meet local market requirements, ensuring seamless integration with internal functions.
  • Conduct technical training for customers, distributors, and internal teams, fostering knowledge sharing and expertise.
  • Perform competitive analysis and recommend strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and internal standards, maintaining high levels of quality and integrity.
  • Manage lab operations efficiently, upholding EHS and ISO requirements, and ensure smooth day-to-day activities.
  • Support customer complaint resolution and application troubleshooting, delivering prompt and practical solutions.
  • Maintain lab equipment, calibrate instruments, and document results, facilitating data-driven decision making.
  • Participate in field trials and on-site customer visits as needed, building strong relationships and gathering valuable insights.
Requirements:
  • MSc or Bachelor of Engineering or Master's of Engineering in Chemistry preferred, demonstrating a solid foundation in polymer science.
  • At least 8 years of formulation experience in Polymer dispersions/coatings, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/people leadership role, showcasing leadership capabilities.
  • Sound understanding of polymer science and standard test methods, enabling effective problem solving and decision making.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to provide prompt, practical solutions, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Deep knowledge of core markets, competitors, and emulsion polymer technology, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
