Threat Researcher Position

A threat researcher is a crucial component in the security ecosystem, responsible for uncovering and analyzing complex threats.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and analyze threat data to identify patterns and trends.
  • Develop actionable intelligence and propose detection strategies.
  • Contribute to efforts to disrupt malicious activities and develop countermeasures.
  • Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, threat research, or a related security role.
  • Key Skills:
  • A strong understanding of common attack vectors, malware types, and network protocols.
  • Proficiency in OSINT techniques and tools for gathering and analyzing publicly available information.
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain).

Actionable Intelligence: As a threat researcher, you will be expected to produce high-quality, actionable intelligence that informs our security posture. This includes identifying emerging threats, analyzing threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and developing effective mitigation strategies.

Disrupting Threats: Our team is dedicated to disrupting malicious activities and contributing to the development of effective countermeasures. As a threat researcher, you will play a critical role in this effort by providing valuable insights and recommendations to inform our security strategy.

Continuous Learning: The threat landscape is constantly evolving, and it's essential to stay ahead of emerging threats. As a threat researcher, you will be expected to continuously update your skills and knowledge to ensure you are equipped to tackle the latest threats.
