Job Title: Patch Management & Vulnerability Management Specialist
Job Location: Work from home
Job Purpose:
Support client's cybersecurity operations by managing critical security vulnerabilities and patch deployment across Unix/Linux infrastructure, with specific focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) components to maintain system security posture and business continuity.
Key Deliverables / Responsibilities:
Patch Management:
- Work with Security Engineering team to understand vulnerabilities
- Assist with patching in Unix-based environments
- Handle Linux patching and administration
Vulnerability Management:
- Identify vulnerabilities on IAM components deployed on Linux servers
- Update configurations to close security gaps
- Resolve Apache vulnerabilities, including Apache Zero Day vulnerabilities
Preferred Skills & Tools:
- Hands-on Linux experience (critical requirement)
- IAM (Identity and Access Management) knowledge - described as "Linux with a flavor of IAM"
- Unix-based environment patching expertise
- Apache server vulnerability management
- Security configuration management
