The RoleAs a seasoned Marketing Strategist, you will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across gastro multispecialty therapy areas. You will analyze market trends, identify high-potential candidates, and maximize our current product portfolio through strategic line extensions. The jobholder will work closely with the Business Head to achieve targeted market shares by sustaining high-volume brands, developing a robust secondary brand portfolio, and enhancing profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Marketing Strategy & Execution: Prepare and deploy a robust marketing mix aligned with business objectives.
- Market Analysis: Analyze data to assess therapy trends, customer segments, and evolving market dynamics.
- Therapy Expansion: Recommend strategic entry into new therapies and specialties, aligned with divisional vision.
- Innovative Strategies: Implement innovative marketing strategies and tactics to drive project success and growth.
- Market Forecasting: Analyze market trends, forecast sales, and monitor brand evolution indices.
- Brand Sustainment: Sustain and grow established brands and line extensions with effective promotional strategies.
- ROI Analysis: Conduct ROI analysis for all major marketing investments.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the product lifecycle and marketing efforts as per the BCG matrix.
- Market Development: Develop and execute strategies for market expansion and customer segmentation.
- KOL Engagement: Identify and engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs), and oversee KOL management strategies.
- Customer Forums: Participate in relevant customer forums to influence decision-makers.
- Competitor Intelligence: Maintain market intelligence and develop responses to competitor strategies.
- Field Force Alignment: Promote differentiated value propositions and ensure strong field force alignment.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Therapy Heads (GPMs) and Product Managers.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance against business goals, ensuring strong brand performance and profitability.
- Culture Development: Foster a culture of high performance, innovation, and accountability.
- Field Force Support: Drive marketing strategy implementation through the field force.
- Joint Fieldwork: Conduct joint fieldwork to support team execution.
- Training and Development: Train the field team on promotional themes and monitor implementation effectiveness.
- Budget Management: Ensure efficient cost and profit management across all operational marketing activities.
- Resource Optimization: Optimize resource allocation to maximize return on investment.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with supply chain to ensure adequate inventory levels.
