Senior Oracle DBA

As a seasoned Senior Oracle DBA, you will lead the administration, optimization, and security of our Oracle database landscape.

  • Administer, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot multiple Oracle databases in production, development, and QA environments.
  • Perform installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations using advanced techniques.
  • Optimize database performance by leveraging AWR, ASH, OEM, and tuning expertise.
  • Manage high availability and disaster recovery configurations using Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
  • Implement and test robust backup/recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborate with SAP Basis team to support SAP systems using Oracle.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN, along with solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments, scripting, and automation.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in large-scale enterprise-grade environments.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • SAP environment experience.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems using Oracle.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
