Job Description

A Database Administrator is required to manage and maintain the company's databases. The successful candidate will have strong database administration skills, experience with Oracle databases, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

The role involves day-to-day tasks such as database administration, replication, troubleshooting, and database security. The Database Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the company's databases, including installing, configuring, and upgrading Oracle database software to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Administration: Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Database Security: Implement and maintain robust database security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Performance Tuning: Optimize database performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, tuning SQL queries, and configuring database parameters.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot complex database issues, including performance problems, data corruption, and system failures.
  • Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN, ensuring business continuity and minimizing data loss.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a strong foundation in database concepts and administration.
  • Oracle DBA Experience: Freshers or experienced candidates with basic knowledge of Oracle database administration can apply.
  • Oracle Database Administration: Understanding of Oracle database architecture, including datafiles, control files, redo logs, and undo management.
Benefits

This is a full-time on-site role located in Hyderabad. The contract duration is 1 year.
