Backend Software Engineering Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale our applications using modern technologies.

You will be responsible for implementing scalable backend services, robust REST APIs, and database management using Java and Spring Boot.

We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed system design.

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services and robust REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Optimize and manage MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, focusing on performance, schema design, and query tuning.
  • Work with message queues like AWS SQS to build asynchronous, event-driven workflows that ensure system reliability and efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce coding standards, and help guide junior engineers.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of features—from gathering requirements and design to deployment and monitoring.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions.
Key Requirements:
  • Deep knowledge of software engineering principles and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to own and drive projects from concept to completion.
