Job Summary

  • SRE+AI engineers play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the robustness of complex systems, ensuring seamless availability, scalability, and reliability across diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Linux System Administration: Expertly manage, configure, and optimize Linux servers for peak performance, leveraging patches and security hardening strategies as required.
  • Kubernetes Management: Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and scalability, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Data Center & Hardware Operations: Oversee physical infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and networking hardware within on-premises data centers, ensuring optimal efficiency.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement updates and security patches to Linux-based Kubernetes environments, ensuring adherence to internal policies and standards.
  • Collaboration & Support: Foster close relationships with global SRE and Platform teams to provide enterprise-wide system support and Kubernetes cluster management.
  • Incident & Case Management: Effectively manage service tickets using tools like ServiceNow or Salesforce, prioritizing swift resolution and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in Linux system administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, or equivalent) is essential.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in Kubernetes administration are mandatory.
  • Experience working with bare-metal infrastructure, including servers, storage arrays, and networking components, is beneficial.
  • Good understanding of networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure layers are crucial.
  • Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Bash, or Python is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools is a plus.
