Senior WordPress Engineer

We are seeking an experienced senior WordPress engineer to lead the design, development and delivery of enterprise-grade solutions. While WordPress expertise is key, experience with headless CMS platforms is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end WordPress projects ensuring high-quality, scalable and secure solutions.
  • Architect custom themes, plugins and integrations tailored to business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless CMS experiences.
  • Evaluate modern CMS solutions based on project needs.
  • Mentor junior developers and drive best practices in coding, performance optimization and security.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong WordPress expertise including plugin development and custom theme creation.
  • Hands-on experience with PHP, JavaScript React/Node.js, HTML5, CSS3, REST/GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or other enterprise CMS platforms.
  • Exposure to Headless CMS e.g. Webiny, Contentful, Strapi, Sanity.
  • Familiarity with cloud hosting AWS, Azure, GCP and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and deliver complex CMS projects.

  • Problem-solving mindset with flexibility to work across different CMS platforms.
