About The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate WordPress Developer with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, including themes and plugins. You should be proficient in both front-end and back-end development, with a strong focus on performance, security, and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement features and functionality for WordPress websites.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on client-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, marketers, and developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and overall performance using best practices.
- Implement caching, image optimization, and script minimization techniques to boost performance.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing WordPress sites and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure site security by preventing vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, XSS) and applying hardening techniques and security plugins.
- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle from requirement analysis to deployment and support.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry standards.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high code quality and consistency.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and Requirements :
- Strong proficiency in PHP and MySQL.
- Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Solid experience in responsive and mobile-friendly web design.
- Experience with REST APIs and AJAX is a strong advantage.
- Expertise in WordPress core concepts : custom post types, taxonomies, custom fields.
- Strong knowledge of popular plugins/frameworks such as WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), and WPML.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with other PHP-based CMS platforms like Magento or Joomla is a plus.
- Ability to develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from Skills :
