Our organization seeks a seasoned expert in vacuum furnace design and engineering to lead our team. This high-profile position requires an individual with extensive experience in the field, preferably with 15-20 years of hands-on experience in designing and engineering vacuum equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing technical solutions and execution methods in response to sales offers
  • Collaborating with the sales manager to size and cost technical offers
  • Monitoring projects on a weekly basis to ensure proper technical support is provided to assembly/service teams and customers
  • Providing engineering management and technical analysis of projects, including design, calculation, component specification, cost estimation, and technical service

Other key skills and qualifications include:

  • Expertise in 2D and 3D CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Inventor or Solid Works
  • Knowledge of numerical modeling in solid mechanics, thermal exchange calculation, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
  • Finite Element Method (FEM) and thermo-mechanical simulation analysis
  • Hands-on aptitude with standard design practices and manufacturing techniques
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A collaborative approach to work, with clarity in communication being crucial for success
  • Customer-focused and result-oriented, with creative and strategic thinking
  • Accountable for own actions and decisions, with the ability to identify, define, and assess problems and take proactive action to address them
