System Administration Position

This comprehensive role involves monitoring, administering, and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions, with a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and administer AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.
  • Develop high-availability and disaster recovery solutions using backup software such as Veeam, AWS Snapshots, Commvault, and Backup Exec.
  • Oversee automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.
  • Analyze system performance, identify trends, and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards to protect cloud environments.
  • Administer company SaaS platforms, ensuring user productivity with tools like Okta and AWS Workspaces.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience administering Okta.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
