Job Title: Buyer - Apparel

Develop a product assortment strategy that aligns with brand identity and drives sales growth.

The role involves trend forecasting, vendor management, pricing strategy, and sales analysis. The Buyer will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage a product mix that reflects current trends and customer preferences across all sales channels.
  • Make data-driven purchasing choices, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Develop competitive pricing models in line with market trends and company financial goals.
  • Regularly review sales data, adjust strategies, and report findings to senior management.
  • Collaborate with design teams to stay ahead of fashion trends and identify new product opportunities.
  • Work with marketing and other teams to ensure seamless product launches and availability.

To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of apparel buying experience in retail. You should also possess strong analytical, negotiation, and trend forecasting skills, as well as proficiency in Excel and buying/planning software.
