Job Purpose:

Executive - Master Planning provides administrative and logistical support for master planning projects. This role involves data collection, documentation management, and coordination assistance. The Executive ensures that all regulatory documents are prepared and submitted accurately and supports the execution phase of master plans by monitoring progress and addressing any issues that arise.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Airport projects for respective airports in alignment to the Master Plan phasing and Operational requirements.

• Planning & design management of Airport projects from concept till as-built project stages.

• Provide design/technical leadership to resolve all the Airport design issues.

• Responsible for internal / external stakeholder approvals as necessary and mandatory for respective Airport aspects.

• Support approval coordination from statutory organisations in coordination with the internal / external stakeholders as deemed necessary.

• Ensure planning & design submitted by consultant(s) / contractor(s) meets all requirements (Drawings, Reports, Specifications and BOQ).

• Lead and ensure Airport planning & design meets functional and operational requirements.

• Prepare presentations, working papers, and reports etc. for management review and external stakeholder requirements.

• Review & Comment on consultants/contractors documents and drawings in coordination with Engineering team & design specifications.

• Manage Consultants/Contractors to extract the technical and operationally feasible planning & design in line with all applicable standards, codes and good practices.

• Build and sustain stakeholder relationships, act as the primary Airport planning & design interface, and a wide range of consultants and collaborators.

• Construction support as deemed appropriate.

• Support other departments like Procurement and Contracts, Legal etc. in all Project related matters.

• Conduct regular meetings with consultants to ensure Airport planning & design is delivered on time, meeting all expected requirements.

• Report all activities to the reporting manager to ensure transparency in working.

• Organise, lead and manage the weekly meeting with the Central Master Planning team and Leadership to convey the project progress.

• Provide guidance and leadership to junior members of the team.

Professional Experience:

• Overall years of experience shall be 10-14 years; minimum 6-8 recent years in Airports & rest in large scale infrastructure projects.

• Experience in Airport design management with an Airport Operator / as Airport Operators representative is a must to have.

• Must possess Greenfield as well as Brownfield project development experience in Airports.

• Hands-on experience and understanding of airfield planning and design, in line to all the respective standards, codes and good practices.

• Extensive understanding of the market economics and key drivers of Airport Planning and Development, including the ability to interact with a range of Airport stakeholders.

• Understanding and experience of recognised software used in Airport planning and design.

• Proven track record in coordinating, managing and delivering technically excellent studies and projects on time.

• Hands-on experience in leading and managing a team preferably for an airport. Capable of managing the planning and design of a Project independently.

• Understanding of respective airport Airport projects contractual and commercial requirements.

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder relationship management skills.

• Adaptation to Adani's growing Airports business portfolio & its dynamics.

• Conversant with applicable Airport local & international standards, codes and good practices.

• Should be familiar with application of design softwares like AVIAPLAN, AutoCAD, Revit etc.

Educational Qualification:

• A Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Architecture & Civil engineering or equivalent qualification.

• A relevant first degree or equivalent qualification with preference for an air transport related post graduate qualification and Professional membership to a relevant body.
