About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commodity Sourcing Specialist to join our team in Pune, India. As a key member of our Strategic Procurement unit, you will be responsible for managing the Forgings commodity for the India region supplier base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Ecosystem strategies with cross-functional counterparts to ensure effective use of suppliers globally.
  • Identify and manage the India region supplier base to meet business needs.
  • Ensure transparency on cost structures and spend through Commodity Circles.
  • Implement strategic procurement activities, including negotiations, commodity strategy updates, and awarding strategy.
  • Prepare and negotiate frame contracts and price lists with strategic suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management with a minimum of 10 years' experience in sourcing, purchasing, or similar functions.
  • Advanced knowledge of sourcing processes and long-term contract management.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead change.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
