Finance and Accounting Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled finance and accounting professional to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our company, including tax compliance, audit coordination, payroll management, invoicing and financial tracking, accounting and financial reporting, and compliance management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in managing financial operations in a service-based business. They will also possess excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a high level of integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST and TDS filing, and preparation of returns.
  • Audit Coordination: Collaborate on quarterly internal audits and annual audits, liaising with external auditors for smooth and timely completion.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursement while adhering to statutory requirements.
  • Invoicing and Financial Tracking: Prepare estimates, tax invoices, and credit notes for clients, track client payments weekly using bank statements, and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Accounting and Financial Reporting: Maintain accurate records using Tally and Zoho Books, issue purchase orders (POs) to vendors, track client payments, generate monthly income and expenditure statements, create monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L statements, maintain annual trial balance and balance sheet.
  • Compliance Management: Manage all compliance requirements related to Private Limited companies, handle tax compliance for both the company and employees.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • B.Com or M.Com degree preferable
  • Prior work experience with a CA company
  • Core knowledge of accounting and experience in the finance field in service businesses like marketing/ad agencies
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Proficiency in Tally & Zoho books
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and Pvt. company financial compliance
  • Strong communication skills to deal with day-to-day business finance matters
  • High level of integrity
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Proactive attitude
