Job Title: Senior Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting:
    • Preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Analysis of financial results and identification of trends and areas for improvement.
    • Development and implementation of financial reporting systems and procedures.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, including financial projections and scenarios.
    • Analysis of budget variances and identification of areas for cost reduction.
    • Development and implementation of budgeting and forecasting systems and procedures.
  • Accounting Operations:
    • Overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
    • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards.
    • Developing and implementing policies and procedures for accounting operations.
  • Statutory Compliance:
    • Ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including income tax, sales tax, and employment tax.
    • Preparing and filing all required tax returns and forms.
    • Coordinating with external auditors and ensuring compliance with auditing requirements.
  • Payroll Management:
    • Overseeing payroll operations, including employee compensation, benefits, and time-off management.
    • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including labor laws and employment taxes.
    • Developing and implementing policies and procedures for payroll management.
  • Internal Controls:
    • Developing and implementing internal controls to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.
    • Identifying and mitigating potential risks to financial information.
    • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a senior role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably with a CPA or CMA designation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
