Job Title: Responsible Mica Auditor and Trainer

The mission of this role is to establish responsible workplace standards and eradicate child labor in the mica supply chain.

  • Assess compliance with global standards in India and Madagascar, developing corrective action plans and following up on progress.
  • Engage with local government officials, civil society organizations, and industry associations to drive sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities:

This role involves supporting the executive team in several key areas:

  • Supply Chain Sustainability Management (80%): Conduct gap assessments, co-design corrective action plans, and monitor progress towards compliance with RMI's Global Workplace Standard and forthcoming mining standard.
  • District Level Advocacy in Rajasthan (20%): Build relationships with local district government officials, updating them on RMI's progress, planned activities, and challenges.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or equivalent in International Development, Business, Engineering/Mining, or a related field.
  • Social Auditing or related experience; demonstrated expertise in supply chain social and environmental auditing.
  • Experience with sustainability standards and mining standards required; good knowledge of Indian labor laws and regulations, Industrial EHS requirements, Quality and Production systems.
  • Facilitation skills for training sessions and experience working in multi-stakeholder projects preferred.
