We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at MakeMyTrip, where you will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge AI solutions that redefine the travel experience. As a key member of our Data Platform & Personalization Team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing AI-driven personalization engines, leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to create tailored experiences for millions of users.

About the Role

  • Lead AI Agent Development: Develop and fine-tune AI agents for trip planning, utilizing LLMs to craft personalized, intuitive travel solutions.
  • Refine Generative Models: Collaborate on advanced generative AI models like GPT, GANs, and VAEs to build applications for intelligent travel assistants, dynamic pricing engines, and virtual travel experiences.
  • Domain-Specific Fine-Tuning: Customize large language models for travel-specific use cases using techniques like instruction tuning, domain adaptation, and reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF).
  • Leverage LLM Technology: Implement and scale LLMs using platforms like Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service to solve real-world travel planning and personalization challenges.
  • Optimize Data-Driven AI: Develop data-centric approaches to enhance model performance by preparing high-quality datasets and improving real-time responsiveness.
  • Collaborate on Next-Gen Solutions: Work with cross-functional teams to build and deploy AI-powered systems that transform user journeys and optimize operational efficiency.

  • Design and Develop AI Agents: Create AI agents that assist travelers in trip planning, itinerary creation, and real-time query resolution.
  • Deploy Models for Contextual Personalization: Deploy models that power contextual personalization and dynamic recommendations for a seamless user experience.
  • Build Multi-Modal Systems: Build multi-modal systems integrating travel data (text, images, and customer preferences) for enriched user interactions.
  • Innovate in Latency Reduction and Scalability: Innovate in latency reduction and scalability for AI pipelines to ensure fast and efficient deployment in production environments.
  • Collaborate on Designing Systems for Search Relevance: Collaborate on designing systems for search relevance, intent detection, and query optimization using advanced NLP techniques.
