Job Description">

We are seeking an expert in data engineering to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing dataflows using SQL and ETL tools. Experience with AWS services such as Redshift, Glue, and Athena is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create input datasets from various sources including MongoDB, Flat files, AWS S3, and Redshift connector.
  • Develop complex dataflows using Magic ETL (SQL, Add Formula, Rank & Window, Pivot), SQL Transformation, and Blend.
  • Assign personalized data permissions based on user requirements.
  • Maintain data governance, metadata, and user management.
  • Design views with joining and union operations.
  • Work in a sandbox environment across dev, QA, and prod instances.
  • Migrate and promote content.
  • Optimize and tune performance.
  • Write complex SQL queries.
  • Build apps, dashboards, and apply filters.
  • Use various charts and tables (bar, pie, line, gauge, table, pivot) to present data.
  • Apply drill-up/down/thru functionality.
  • Create calculated fields (Beast Mode) for WTD, MTD, QTD, and YTD metrics.
  • Manage variables and control filters.
  • Handle key performance indicators (KPIs).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
  • Experience with AWS services such as Redshift, Glue, and Athena.
  • Strong understanding of data governance and metadata management.
  • Ability to design and implement dataflows using ETL tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
