Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks.

Your responsibilities will include optimizing Spark jobs, ensuring efficient data processing and storage, and troubleshooting and resolving data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks.

You will also be responsible for monitoring and managing data processing jobs for high availability and reliability.

In addition, you will work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to integrate Databricks with other services, stay current with the latest Databricks and big data technologies and trends, and have experience working in any one ETL tool like Informatica.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in building and optimizing data pipelines and workflows in Databricks
  • Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of ETL tools like Informatica
