About the Role
Khan Academy India is seeking a Divisional Coordinator to support the implementation of our program in government schools across Odisha. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the program's success in assigned districts, working closely with the Odisha State Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support program implementation: Work with the Odisha State Team to set up and deliver the Khan Academy program in government high schools and Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas across assigned districts.
- Deliver training to education officials, principals, and teachers on a regular basis.
- Track progress and implementation of the program in schools and de-bottleneck challenges.
- Regularly visit schools and support teachers to implement the program.
- Identify and replicate best practices of implementation happening across schools in your districts.
- Manage relationships with administration officials, including district-level officers, principals, and schools.
- Conduct school visits and have regular touchpoints with teachers to generate insights and create plans to improve usage.
- Build our learning muscle by analyzing qualitative feedback from the state systems and sharing it with the larger team.
About You
We are looking for someone with 2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in education or government schools in Odisha. You should be fluent in Odia (spoken and written) and have a strong collaborative mindset with an ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
You should also have an excellent ability to document information from multiple sources and present it in a consumable format for others in English and Odia. A quick learner with an entrepreneurial mindset, including a high tolerance for ambiguity, a penchant for experimentation, and a bias toward action, is essential for this role.
Comfortable working out of districts in Odisha and traveling to schools regularly, you should be passionate about education and have a strong desire to change the world for the better.
