Financial Analyst Position

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data and providing insights to support business decisions.

  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends and areas for improvement in our financial performance.
  • You will analyze historical financial results to explain business trends and identify risks, challenge assumptions related to future financial projections, and assist in discount rate development (WACC, IRR, WARA).
  • You will conduct financial statement analysis (e.g., common size, ratio, trend analysis), perform market/industry research and develop growth estimates, construct and review valuation models, prepare valuation reports and client deliverables, present analyses and conclusions to management and clients, and direct engagement activity and provide review/mentorship as needed.
  • You will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field and a minimum of 2+ years experience performing fair value work in a public accounting/consulting/investment banking environment.
  • You will possess fundamental understanding of financial valuation theory/methodologies, experience with traditional valuation methods, experience valuing contingent consideration and mergers & acquisitions, experience building/analyzing/reviewing financial models, comprehensive experience with financial databases (Capital IQ, Bloomberg), track record managing high-stakes projects under tight deadlines, functional understanding of financial statements analysis, technical skills working with Excel models, and ability to travel/work from home.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree/certifications preferable.
  • Minimum 2+ years experience performing fair value work in a public accounting/consulting/investment banking environment.
  • Fundamental understanding of financial valuation theory/methodologies; experience with traditional valuation methods.
  • Experience valuing contingent consideration and mergers & acquisitions.
  • Experience building/analyzing/reviewing financial models.
  • Comprehensive experience with financial databases (Capital IQ, Bloomberg).
  • Track record managing high-stakes projects under tight deadlines.
  • Functional understanding of financial statements analysis.
  • Technical skills working with Excel models.
  • Ability to travel/work from home.
