Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor the purchase and store team to achieve departmental targets.
  • Optimize procurement processes for cost savings and efficiency.
  • Understand department requirements and source materials accordingly.
  • Negotiate with vendors for best pricing and quality.
  • Finalize vendors, execute agreements, and maintain vendor trackers with cost-benefit analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Manage inventory to meet production demands while minimizing waste and obsolescence.
  • Explore new vendors to improve rates and services.
  • Utilize ERP for tracking and reporting.
  • Monitor costs and analyze performance metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 10–15 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain (industry-specific experience preferred).
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and supplier management processes.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
