Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our software applications and services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in software testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies, including black-box, gray-box, smoke, and sanity testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues, while continuously improving our QA processes and tooling.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex business functions
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve overall quality and efficiency
  • Continuously develop and maintain test environments, automation frameworks, and server-related tools and platforms
  • Contribute to the innovation and improvement of quality assurance processes, strategies, and methodologies

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure quality assurance for software applications and services
  2. Participate in requirements review to understand product functionality and provide valuable improvement suggestions
  3. Monitor, trace, and identify quality issues in projects
  4. Develop and maintain test environments, automation frameworks, and server-related tools and platforms

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of software testing experience, with rich experience in App and Web testing
  • Familiarity with various testing methodologies, including black-box, gray-box, smoke, and sanity testing
  • Experience with test case development, execution, and reporting
  • Knowledge of defect lifecycle management and bug tracking systems
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages: PHP, Python, Java, or Go
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and database systems, including familiarity with Redis and MongoDB

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in server-side testing
  • Practical project development experience using PHP/Python/Java/Go
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Automated testing expertise
  • Performance and load testing experience
  • Security testing knowledge
  • Advanced API testing skills
  • Experience with BDD frameworks
  • Knowledge of test data management principles
  • Experience with data-driven and keyword-driven testing
