Key Job Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable and efficient backend services using Node.js to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality features that meet customer needs.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices to ensure seamless system performance.
  • Optimize application performance, security, and scalability through regular analysis and improvement.
  • Implement and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines for smooth software releases.
  • Lead technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements to architecture and processes to stay ahead of the competition.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript for robust coding.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL (optional) for advanced API management.
  • Hands-on experience with databases: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis) for data storage and retrieval.
  • Expertise in microservices architecture and event-driven systems for complex system design.
  • Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization/orchestration tools for efficient system deployment.
  • Familiarity with AWS/GCP/Azure cloud services for scalable infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, etc.) for thorough system testing.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) for automated software releases.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS) for efficient data exchange.
  • Familiarity with Serverless (AWS Lambda, etc.) for cost-effective system development.
  • Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) for full-stack contributions.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies for iterative project development.
