Lead Financial Strategist

The Role

We are seeking an exceptional finance professional to join our growing team as a Lead Financial Strategist. This role is critical in safeguarding our treasury as we navigate rapid growth from $5M to $50M in ARR over the next couple of years. The successful candidate will establish and execute financial operations, ensuring a strong foundation for future expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Operations: Develop and implement strategies for payroll processing, vendor payouts, and accounts receivables management.
  • Compliance: Oversee adherence to statutory requirements, including Provident Fund (PF), Professional Tax (PT), and Goods and Services Tax (GST).
  • Financial Modeling: Design and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Cash Management: Oversee cash flow monitoring and optimize working capital.
  • Stakeholder Management: Foster relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, banks, and auditors.
  • Fundraising: Support fundraising efforts by developing investor presentations and financial projections.
  • Policy Development: Establish and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices.
  • Operational Efficiency: Monitor costing activities and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in finance controllership, accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience building the finance function from 0-1 for a scaling SaaS company.
  • Past experience working in SaaS accounting is an added plus.
