Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Big Data Architecture Lead to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing and building the next-generation big data platform that is efficient and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Platform Development: Develop and maintain the data processing pipelines using best-in-class technologies, focusing on research and development to challenge the status quo.
  • Design and Translation: Translate complex technical and functional requirements into detailed designs, collaborating with data scientists and product managers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams to bring AI-based assistive experiences to life, creating roadmaps and socializing among stakeholders.
  • Team Culture: Foster a culture that focuses on sound scientific processes and encourages deep engagement with customers.
  • Risk Management: Handle project scope and risks with data, analytics, and creative problem-solving.
  • Data Governance: Help define data governance policies and implement security and privacy guardrails.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in technical roles involving Big Data Engineering, implementation of Machine Learning models.
  • Education: Master's or higher degree in Engineering.
  • Skills: Deep knowledge of Big Data Architectures, Platforms, Frameworks; experience with Real-Time Bidding/Ad Tech background preferred.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead a team while working autonomously, influence technical and non-technical stakeholders, and demonstrate a track record of delivering cloud-scale applications.

  • Expertise: Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, multi-threaded programming, and distributed computing concepts.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, look around corners, and create a vision for the current quarter, year, and five years down the road.

Estimated Salary: $180,000 - $250,000 per year.
