Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Big Data Engineering Lead to join our team at Altimetrik. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of reliable and scalable ETL pipelines on big data/cloud platforms.

As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with other teams to design, develop, and deploy data tools that support both operations and product use cases. You will also work closely with the business owner/product owner/cross-functional team to gather technical requirements and ensure proper execution of tasks.

This is a critical role that requires strong experience in data warehouse concepts, understanding of Data Lake/Lake House Concepts, and familiarity with new big data ecosystems. You should have proficiency in scripting languages such as PySpark/Python and experience working with varied forms of data infrastructure including relational databases (SQL), Hadoop, Spark.

The ideal candidate should have experience in Ataccama, IDQ/IDMC, AWS cloud & DevOps, Databricks, and database design/data modeling. They should also have strong communication skills, be able to operate in an ambiguous environment with minimal guidance, and be comfortable mentoring junior engineers.

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
