Electronics Design Expert

The Electronics Design Expert shall provide technical expertise in designing and optimizing electronic circuits, resolving issues at internal or external fabricators. They must read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate detailed fabrication drawings of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) and Gerber files (Artwork).
  • Architect, design, and develop high-performance/bandwidth PCBs.
  • Perform PCB layout for analog, digital, and RF circuit boards through fabrication and assembly drawings generation.
  • Create hardware design documents that cover design analysis, notes, and specific guidelines followed.
  • Transferring schematic net-list design, ID, and ME design into the physical PCB design based on electrical considerations such as signal integrity, power integrity, ID, and mechanical integrity, EMC-EMI, and safety.
  • Coordinate and approve PCB layout.
  • Prepare BOM and fabrication documentation, following revision control procedures.
  • Bring up and test PCBs and auxiliary electronics.
  • Develop PCB layout concepts that are in line with products involving efficient manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, design, electronics engineering, embedded system engineering, ECE, or ETC.

Desired skills:

  • Preferably a minimum of 3 years' experience using two or more PCB designing tools from the list given below.
  • Familiarity with KiCAD, ISIS, ARES, Allegro, or similar industry-standard tools.
  • Strong knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and materials, fundamentals of digital and analog circuit design, logic/board debug, and analytical skills.
