Your Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead the growth of our platform, driving strategic decisions and executing key initiatives to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy & Fundraising
    • Develop and manage robust financial models to inform decision-making.
    • Lead fundraising efforts, preparing investor materials and pitch decks.
    • Build strong relationships with investors and stakeholders.
    • Oversight of financial systems, including accounting, compliance, and reporting.
  • Marketplace Operations
    • Design and execute a comprehensive operations playbook.
    • Develop processes for venue partnerships, equipment rentals, and event logistics.
    • Balance marketplace liquidity to meet attendee demand.
    • Establish trust and safety operations, including dispute resolution and community guidelines.
  • Scaling & Partnerships
    • Oversee legal frameworks, contracts, and corporate structure.
    • Forge strategic partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations.
    • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for event volume, ticket sales, and host retention.
    • Hire and manage community managers and operational staff as the company grows.

Our ideal candidate has a strong background in finance, consulting, or startup operations, with prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms. They should be comfortable managing logistics, partnerships, and customer support, with a passion for building communities and scaling people-first businesses.
