We are currently seeking a highly skilled Furniture Maker with expertise in crafting customised residential and office furniture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create accurate and detailed shop drawings for bespoke furniture, including joinery, finishes, and installation details.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and clients to develop technical designs from concepts.
  • Evaluate the appropriate use of materials such as wood, veneers, laminates, metals, polishes, and marble/stone finishes.
  • Work effectively with production and technical teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with manufacturing capabilities.
  • Provide precise dimensions, hardware specifications, and material indications for factory production.
  • Modify and refine drawings based on site conditions, production limitations, or client feedback.
  • Maintain high-quality detailing standards suitable for luxury furniture manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Degree in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Product Design, or related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience designing and detailing customised furniture for factory production.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software.
  • Strong understanding of joinery techniques, finishes, and furniture ergonomics.
  • Familiarity with production processes for woodworking, metal fabrication, polishing, and marble applications.
