Job Summary

The Pre-Clinical Pathology Lab Leader will oversee the planning and execution of blood collection from various laboratory animals, supervise anesthesia / euthanasia of laboratory animals, and plan for necropsy examination.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for blood collection from diverse laboratory animal species
  • Maintain accurate records of anesthesia / euthanasia procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Coordinate the preparation and execution of necropsy examinations
  • Prepare and conduct necropsy examinations of laboratory animals to identify any abnormalities or lesions
  • Oversee the histopathological slide reading process for toxicity and efficacy studies
  • Monitor the quality control checks for biochemical analysis equipment
  • Develop SOPs related to pathology area and ensure adherence to established protocols
  • Supervise the maintenance and operation of histopathology-related instruments and equipment
  • Review in-house test results and provide feedback for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute pharmacological evaluation projects
