Job Summary:

This role involves overseeing the preparation of mechanical components, managing documentation according to international standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop 2D drawings & 3D models for mechanical components, create bills of material, and maintain documentation in compliance with ISO 9004:2015.
  2. Create assembly & part drawings plus 3D models for new product development, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
  3. Prepare bills of material (BOMs) and manage ISO documents, maintaining accuracy and organization.
  4. Modify existing designs based on team requirements, optimizing production processes.
  5. Develop and implement design standards and procedures, ensuring consistency across products.
  6. Conduct cost comparisons of products with other brands and materials analysis, providing valuable insights.
  7. Prepare and present technical reports and presentations, effectively communicating complex information.
  8. Manage and work on all ISO 9001:2015 related design documents, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  9. Train personnel on approved manufacturing, test, and inspection procedures, enhancing knowledge and skills.
  10. Resolve process and product-related issues, supporting the manufacturing and sourcing teams in meeting dispatch orders.
  11. Action on customer complaints, resolving issues within specified timeframes.
  12. Prepare internal and external written correspondence, maintaining effective communication.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably from a recognized institution.
  • Proficiency in AUTO CAD 2D & SOLID WORKS / SIEMENS NX (UNIGRAPHICS), with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, with attention to detail and organizational abilities.
