Senior Financial Contract Manager

This is a challenging role that requires the ability to balance multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong contract management skills, experience in financial analysis and risk management, and excellent communication and project management skills.

The Senior Financial Contract Manager will be responsible for overseeing the complete contract-to-invoice lifecycle for global SaaS agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies, revenue recognition standards, service provisioning and legal requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the contract implementation process, ensuring timely and accurate execution of contracts.
  • Lead the invoicing function to guarantee billing accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with client-specific requirements.
  • Partner with Sales, RevOps, and other teams to resolve invoicing discrepancies quickly.
  • Ensure proper tax handling (GST, VAT, etc.) and alignment with regional finance regulations.
  • Act as a liaison between Finance, Sales, Legal, and RevOps for seamless contract-to-cash execution.
  • Collaborate with RevOps and IT to integrate contract and invoicing processes into Salesforce/ERP.
  • Represent Finance in cross-functional projects impacting order-to-cash, revenue recognition, or reporting.
  • Participate in scoping, define finance-related success measures, and identify risks/impacts.

Requirements:

  • 10–14 years of experience in Finance, Contracts Management, Invoicing, or Revenue Assurance in SaaS/B2B.
  • 2–3 years of experience leading contracts/invoicing/finance operations teams.
  • Prior exposure to cross-functional project delivery and system implementations is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS contracts, invoicing workflows, revenue recognition, and compliance frameworks.
  • Hands-on expertise in Salesforce CRM, CLM systems, and ERP/Finance platforms (Oracle, SAP, etc.).
  • Proficiency in UAT/project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Agile).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
