Job Description:

You will serve as a technical expert supporting our application security portfolio, working closely with the Sales team to design customer-centric solutions and deliver impactful demos and proofs-of-concept. This role is pivotal in driving customer success, enabling product adoption, and contributing to overall revenue growth through technical excellence.

This involves conducting technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and workshops for AppScan and AppScan on Cloud, preparing responses for technical sections of RFIs/RFPs, guiding customers in adopting AppScan within DevSecOps and secure software development lifecycle practices, partnering with Sales, Services, Product Management, and Support teams to deliver effective solutions, building reusable technical assets, conducting partner enablement workshops, and providing technical guidance for channel engagements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or consulting in application security or enterprise software
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Knowledge of security testing tools and methodologies, including DAST, SAST, SCA, etc.
  • Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages, such as Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, Bash, etc.
  • Experience with AppScan or competitor tools like Fortify, Checkmarx, Snyk, Veracode, or Burp Suite
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and secure coding practices
  • Strong communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills
