Job Opportunity:

We are looking for a highly skilled Network Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a strong understanding of web application security and network protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with global tech teams to onboard web applications to a web application firewall
  • Review logs, implement tuning, web blocking, etc., for onboarded applications
  • Map IP addresses, FQDNs, to services and applications
  • Liaise with service owners and associated teams to gather relevant application data for migration purposes
  • Perform policy tuning in accordance with performance baselines
  • Transition the web application firewall from transparent to enforcement mode
  • Cleanse and validate data
  • Participate in proof-of-concepts for new security capabilities
  • Manage changes, including preparing, documenting, implementing, and verifying changes
  • Conduct root cause analysis, respond to incidents, and participate in post-mortem analysis
  • Participate in on-call rotations

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Able to cultivate strong relationships with application owners
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Akamai or equivalent platforms
  • Knowledge of web network security and web application firewalls/controls
  • Understanding of ITIL processes
