Technical Service Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical services to our clients using PolyWorks solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of PolyWorks solutions to offer basic and expert-level technical support to customers.
  • Provide training sessions to ensure customers efficiently use our solutions in their manufacturing or design processes.
  • Perform advanced software demonstrations tailored to specific customer needs.
  • Design, build, and implement solutions to automate complex workflows.
  • Contribute to software customization projects to tailor solutions to client-specific needs.
  • Participate in marketing events such as tradeshows, seminars, webinars, and conferences.
  • Visit clients in collaboration with technical management and sales.
Requirements
  • Hold a university degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or a similar field.
  • Have at least 4 years of relevant experience regarding manufacturing processes in industries such as automotive, aeronautics, energy, and in 3D metrology environments, quality control, and production processes.
  • Be available and willing to travel frequently.
  • Display well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Be determined to understand and meet the needs of our customers.
  • Demonstrate a strong interest for teamwork.
  • Be proficient in written and verbal communication in English, Hindi, and Kannada.
  • Possess programming skills (e.g., Matlab, Excel VBA, Python, C#, and/or others) and interest in software customization projects.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software as well as design is an asset. Experience with CNC CMM programming is also beneficial.
