Job Title: Data Engineer

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing.
  • Responsibilities will include building robust data models and data integration workflows from multiple structured and unstructured data sources.
  • The ideal candidate will work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Product Managers to ensure reliable data delivery and availability.
  • Key duties will involve optimizing ETL processes for data ingestion, transformation, and loading into data warehouses or data lakes.
  • The selected candidate must ensure data quality, data governance, and security compliance across the pipeline.
  • Skills required include writing efficient and maintainable code using best practices in Python, SQL, or Scala.
  • Experience with modern orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Prefect) is necessary for deploying and managing data pipelines.
  • Additional responsibilities will include working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP to manage data storage, compute, and integration tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are required to monitor data pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and scalability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala.
  • Experience with cloud-based services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and data integration.
