Senior Oracle Exadata DBA Role

We are seeking a skilled database administrator to implement, configure, maintain and optimize large-scale Oracle RDBMS systems.

  • This role requires solid technical skills, experience with cloud migration, and excellent communication abilities.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting large-scale database environments, working in UNIX, Linux, and Windows environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement and configure Oracle Exadata systems (compute nodes, storage cells, InfiniBand)
  2. Manage Oracle databases on OCI, including provisioning, patching, backup, and recovery
  3. Lead and support end-to-end cloud migration initiatives from on-premises to OCI
  4. Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions (RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate)
  5. Monitor and tune performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and SQL tuning tools

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of production database support
  • Hands-on experience supporting large-scale database environments
  • Proven experience with Oracle Exadata systems
  • Experience with ERP systems on Oracle databases (JDE/E1 preferred)
  • Strong background in disaster recovery planning and execution
  • Experience working in UNIX, Linux, and Windows environments
  • Public Cloud experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) required; OCI certifications preferred
