Job Title: Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist

As a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring timely collection of payments from customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Release containers/BL after obtaining proper approval and verifying due/overdue status;
  • Submit invoices/PODs to customers and resolve related queries with coordination between departments;
  • Follow up on due/overdue payments in a timely manner;
  • Circulate weekly/monthly outstanding reports to the business team for review and subsequent calls;
  • Support the GL team in resolving bank reconciliation open items;
  • Follow up on TDS certificates with customers and perform quarterly reconciliations;
  • Ensure customer reconciliation is done in a timely manner;
  • Finalize customer accounts and circulate quarterly customer balance confirmations to ensure debts are collected within the shortest time possible;
  • Notify the business team of cheque dishonors and monitor collections monthly;
  • Handle disputed accounts for pending collection and bring payment in line with terms;
  • Block/unblock customer masters in case of cheque dishonor, overdue outstanding, or inactive status.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices;
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications;
  • Experience in accounts receivable and cash application processes.
