Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Banking Tech Delivery Leader to join our team at Riverforest Connections Private Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of enterprise business solutions in the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery cycles for all applications, including managing product backlogs, understanding business use cases, sprint planning, velocity tracking, and scrum planning.
  • Accountable for the end-to-end architecture of proposed solutions from a functional and technical perspective, as well as from an InfoSec, Compliance, and Regulatory perspective.
  • Responsible for the overall governance, risk, and controls implementation across the technology landscape.
  • Ensure that solution design, development, testing, implementation, and production tech operations processes are as per ECIS standards.

Governance, Risk, and Controls (GRC)

  • Create the Business Case for programs, covering architecture, financials, business benefits, and ensure follow-through on their approval processes.
  • Ensure program governance routines, cadences, and escalation processes are carried out as per planned calendars with vendors.

Budgets and Financials

  • Maintain program budgets with line-item level details of spends across all of tech, including business applications, underlying infrastructure, and platforms, end-user applications, and resource headcounts.
  • Ensure spends are within budget.

Resource Management

  • Ensure resource hiring and development plans are put in place for all resources and are executed with no exceptions.
  • All mandatory certifications are to be completed by all resources.
  • Ensure each third-party vendor resource has a defined exit date and exit procedures are carried out in accordance with the defined exit date.

Vendor Management

  • Review and track Supplier SLAs and KPIs to ensure optimum portfolio support for Delivery teams.

Technology Controls

  • Manage Technology Enterprise Risk Register.
  • Represent Technology in Governance forums and initiatives like Risk Committee.
  • Establish and maintain the Business Process Architecture for core Technology Processes with support of accountable process owners.

Business Strategy and Planning

  • Ensure operational procedures are fit for purpose and that operational problems are identified and resolved.
  • Be the accountable executive to lead the India Tech Application Delivery and Maintenance function.
  • Develop strong working relationships with local stakeholders like Product, Ops, HR, Finance, etc.
  • Deliver all applications and maintain them in production through a combination of own development, vendor development, or vendor products so as to ensure that end business outcomes are achieved.

Requirements

  • Senior banking Tech Delivery Leader with senior tech delivery head roles in banks/investment banks.
  • Minimum 22 years out of which at least 18 years in delivering enterprise business solutions.
  • Experience with a bank with exposure to RBI submissions, audits, and assessments.
  • Proven ability to work with others to achieve results and proactively address sources of conflict and emotion with focus on the best solution.
  • Experience of setting up and managing high-performance bank tech architecture from scratch.
  • Evidence of developing and maintaining effective relationships across business and IT in a matrix structure/international organization.
