Design Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our organization.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for tasks related to design engineering, mechanical engineering, computer-aided design (CAD), electrical engineering, and product design.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare general layout (GA) drawings for process equipment.
  • Create bills of material (BOM) for procurement and fabrication.
  • Update drawings based on manufacturing and customer feedback.
  • Develop 2D and 3D models of process equipment using CAD tools.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers and manufacturing personnel.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Hands-on experience with software such as Auto-CAD and Solid edge.
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience of drawing presentation, critical dimensioning, view presentations, and parts list preparation.
  • Must have knowledge of manufacturing processes like laser cutting, bending, welding, and basic machining.
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience on advanced assemblies and layouts with GD&T, surface finishes, welding details, and engineering notes.
  • Working knowledge of SAP system.
  • At least 1+ years of hands-on experience in Solid edge.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to existing systems.

Education and Experience

A minimum of B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical is required, along with at least 1-3 years of relevant experience.
