Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce domain, mobile and web testing expertise.

The selected individual will be responsible for defining testing scope within release/delivery context, providing regular status updates to Test Lead/Manager, and supporting testing team and collaborating with BA's, functional leads, and development teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define Testing Scope: Determine the testing requirements for each release or delivery
  • Provide Status Updates: Regularly update Test Lead/Manager on testing progress and any issues encountered
  • Support Testing Team: Collaborate with testing team members to ensure successful testing outcomes
  • Design Test Scenarios: Create test cases and scenarios to cover all aspects of the application
Requirements
  • E-commerce Domain Experience: Proven experience working in e-commerce industry
  • Mobile and Web Testing Expertise: Strong understanding of mobile and web testing principles and methodologies
  • API Testing Experience: Good experience in API testing
  • SDLC Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle phases and methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile)
  • Test Planning and Management: Ability to create test plans, manage testing effort, and track bugs
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in writing/test plans, integration, functional, black box, user acceptance, system, smoke, and regression testing
  • Agile-driven Projects: Experienced in working with Jira and Agile-driven projects
  • Performance Testing: Good to have experience in performance testing, Firebase Analytics, and mobile testing tools
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and communication skills, effective managerial and testing techniques
