As a Pilates Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching Pilates classes to clients of varying ages and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct verbal screenings to ensure clients are safe to participate in Pilates exercises.
- Promote the benefits of Pilates and overall general health benefits of exercise.
- Teach Pilates classes ranging from 45 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Provide individualized attention through 1-2-1 Pilates or small group sessions, designing programmes based on posture types and ability.
- Create a welcoming environment and build rapport with clients.
- Ensure client safety by inspecting the area and reporting any risks.
- Engage class participants and encourage client retention by understanding their goals and building relationships.
- Teach classes of mixed ability, catering for varying needs within a class by offering adaptations, progressions, and modifications as necessary.
- Offer variety in class by using different methods and incorporating small equipment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong passion for fitness and wellness.
