Cloud Engineer Position

This is a cloud engineer role with responsibility for creating and maintaining scalable systems.

The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Azure Cloud Services expertise is essential, including VMs, App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, etc. Proficiency in scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or similar is also required.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools - ARM Templates, Terraform, Bicep - is necessary, along with knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes (AKS preferred).

Familiarity with source control systems like Git, understanding of DevSecOps principles, and integrating security in CI/CD pipelines are also crucial.

The successful candidate should possess excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and have a strong understanding of CI/CD principles.

Preferred qualifications include Azure Certifications such as AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer Expert) or AZ-104 and experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or App Insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools such as ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
  • Manage and monitor Azure cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, and networking resources.
  • Evaluate and improve deployment practices across environments.
  • Integrate testing, security scanning, and code quality tools into the DevOps lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and IT teams to resolve build and deployment issues.
  • Implement and manage configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Maintain documentation related to system configuration, processes, and deployment guides.
  • Analyze system performance and provide production support as needed.
