Job Title: Senior Application Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and developing enterprise-grade billing applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in supporting and developing enterprise-grade billing applications, with a solid understanding of software development lifecycle and troubleshooting techniques. They must also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and support IAS, IBS+, IBBR, and IBPS billing applications.
  • Work on ServiceNow tickets – incident, request, and change management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
  • Write and optimize code in IBM Informix 4GL, Java, C#, VB.NET, and Shell scripting.
  • Ensure smooth execution of build and run activities.
  • Provide support for billing-related processes and systems.
  • Participate in on-call standby support on weekends or EU business hours as required.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong coding ability in IBM Informix 4GL, Java, C#, VB.NET, Shell scripting.
  • Experience in troubleshooting Informix errors.
  • Prior experience in billing applications and strong understanding of billing workflows.
  • Hands-on experience in supporting enterprise-scale applications.
  • Ability to work in rotational shifts (including EU time zone coverage).
