Job Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished Factory Medical Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the health and well-being of factory employees, ensuring a safe working environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Risk Management: Conduct thorough occupational health hazard assessments and suggest mitigation strategies to management.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to Factories Act and Rajasthan Factories Rules.
  • Health Services: Develop and implement general and occupational health procedures in line with ISO standards and best practices.
  • Referral Services: Partner with local hospitals and specialists to provide expert care.
  • SUPPORT: Assist management in addressing and correcting occupational health issues.

Operational Tasks:

  • Employee Screening: Conduct medical checks to ensure fitness before deployment.
  • First Aid and Emergency Care: Provide immediate medical attention and treatment as needed.
  • Statutory Health Checks: Coordinate visits by certifying surgeons and maintain accurate records.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee medicine stock and inventory, including specific antidotes at site OHC.
  • Health Record Maintenance: Keep up-to-date employee health records and provide trend analysis and advice.
  • Training and Education: Impart knowledge on occupational hazards, first aid, personal hygiene, environmental sanitation, and safety.
  • Crisis Management: Manage any medical emergencies that may arise.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: MBBS degree required; Diploma in Industrial Health (DIH) or Certificate of Training in Industrial Health recognized by state Government preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-8 years of experience in managing OHC in an industrial setting.
