Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and performance of our infrastructure.

Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and enhancing Terraform scripts for various platforms, working directly with phData Provision Tool and related infrastructure tooling. You will automate environment setup, deployments, and key rotation practices, collaborate with STL and Senior Engineer to ensure seamless operations, and handle AWS IAM, RSA key management, and 1Password Vault usage.

You will have the technical expertise to review, verify, and validate software code developed in the project, troubleshoot techniques, and coordinate bug fixes with developers. Additionally, you will monitor processes during the entire lifecycle, adhering to and updating or creating new processes for improvement in a lean manner.

You will plan and build automated processes where possible, identify and deploy cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management, select and deploy appropriate CI/CD tools and pipelines, and mentor team members on DevOps collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor customer experience and KPIs
  • Plan the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities
  • Coordinate and communicate within the team and with customers
  • Manage stakeholders and external interfaces
  • Manage periodic reporting on progress to the management and customer

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Experience with chaos engineering or resilience testing
  • Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid environments
  • Ability to write clear runbooks and do postmortems
  • Exposure to Snowflake, FiveTran, DBT Cloud, and other data-intensive or distributed systems
